I publish my own paranormal/horror thriller ebooks. In addition to writing, I love to cook, bake, and figure out how to make things from scratch. I dream of living in a foreign locale, I have a passion for beauty and makeup, I am a world traveler-in-training, I spend a lot of time in nature, I'm a closet rock star, and I consider myself an amateur photographer. I much prefer a book over television, and I am a music fanatic.
Who are your favorite authors?
There are too many to count, but here are a few: Stephen King, Stieg Larsson, Charles Dickens, Edgar Allan Poe, and Issac Asimov.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
The first adult story I ever read was Stephen King's "Pet Sematary." It blew my mind at the time (I was only 10), and I became a huge fan of his after that. Just the way he could put down in words what was going on felt so real to me.
A short book of poetry filled with emotional, heartfelt words written during the darkest of times. It's a true expression of a period of anger, sadness, turmoil, and healing. Different from my other work, this is a labor of love of a different kind.
The Melody is a book of forgiveness, loss, and redemption. Jessie and her mom can't seem to get along, but it doesn't matter as much after she begins a summer romance with Matt. A run-in with a stranger at her job changes the course of her life and her destiny.
