A True Bizarre Story

What marks a good, supernatural horror? The degree of shock in it. And this was shocking,I like the typical, boogie man beginning then the sudden fall into almost complete terror. You think oh it's going to be a little boy and the monster under his bed but then it turns into something more chilling. The abruptness when he changes narrators is okay with me, i liked that. The second page where he runs to his mothers room, and time has obviously passed since the start of the story, is the only thing I will complain about. It isn't hinted at in anyway, and it just appears, so you have to guess at it. There are details that tell it but some how it just seems too abrupt. I like the scene of the child birth, that was chilling, and the pain came through very well.
