Richard Wright

Richard is a retired bus/coach operator, college theatre manager and security manager, Venture Scout Leader and caver, though not simultaneously. Currently he has a quiet life being married to Judy, ringing church bells, being a Coastwatch watchkeeper, being a guard on the Bluebell Railway, cruising on a shared ownership narrowboat and getting annoyed about local politics. Oh, and trying to write.

"The Suspects" was his first completed book. The second is "Loft Island". Both are available on Smashwords. There are more on the way assuming he gets time to write.

Smashwords Interview

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The freedom to use imagination and that mysterious thing called 'experience' which we're always told when young that we haven't got enough of.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The need to visit the loo (bathroom in the US and doubtless elsewhere), plus the knowledge that I'm still alive.

Faced with little to do over the summer, six mid-teen mates camp illegally. Evicted back to their home town, they soon find they have to return to camp to keep out of the way.
