I think it would be difficult for children to wait so long especially when the prize at the end wasn't everlasting. Nice story.
  • Pulchritudinous Book 1 on Feb. 03, 2014

I have read all 10 parts of the Pulchritudinous story and found it delightful. I see there will be a Book 2 and look forward to this one also. I bought my two children e-readers for Christmas which I had this book installed. They have been taking turns in reading a part each out loud. A wonderful story about a little boy who lives in a forest. I would say by his hair and the presence of a wizard it would be set in medieval times. The characters and their corresponding pictures adds to the pleasure of the story and we look forward to book 2 being released after seeing the teaser.
  • That Moment... on Feb. 19, 2014

Finally found time to read something just for me. This is an incredible book made up of short (true) stories. Yes it definitely gets you thinking. I love the authors writing style and the content is wonderful. I don't think there is another book like this one to be found anywhere, and I'm glad the author decided to write everything down and share it. I recommend it to anyone and everyone no matter what your preferrences are in reading material. A MUST READ.

Well written and enjoyable book for older children. Mine are a bit young for this one at the moment but I'll hang on to it till they're older. I enjoyed it.
  • A Vampire in the Vatican 'Brotherhood of the Sword' on March 06, 2014

Found this book a bit slow at first but finished up a great story. Really like the Inspector and Franco, Graeco and the coroner. The characters are good. Lot's of different things happening which keeps it interesting. It's definitely believable and a most enjoyable read.

  • Sons of Monkeys - A New Study Of The Human Animal By A Down On His Luck Chinaman With A Zoology Degree on March 22, 2014

I agree with Lorna Smith, this is a brilliant piece of work which is presented in an entertaining manner. I also learned a lot and was entertained at the same time. Definitely 5+ rating here.
  • Past Friends - Two Faced on March 22, 2014

Good story but I want to know what happens next! Please! Easy 5 stars for this flash fiction.
  • Nun with a Gun on Feb. 24, 2015

Maybe its just me but I found it a bit slow to start with. When it took off I couldn't put it down. I loved the Nazi connection and found the story to be one that keeps you reading. This is the first book I've read right through, only stopped to get a coffee.. Great story, very emotional, great vampire scene. I like Inspector Martinelli (because he's overweight like me) and he's very determined to get rid of vampires. I agree it is emotional and sad but worked out good in the end. I like the new characters, very realistic and have their own stories. I recommend this book.

Poor Craig, what an ordeal he went through. I'm wondering what will happen to him now. Sounds like life will be interesting for him. Good sci-fi and am waiting for the next.
