Excellent read by a truly amazing author. You can feel the pain, the thought and careful attention that went into making this amalgamation of lucid feelings as good as it actually is. Absolutely wonderful indeed.

I don't normally write book reviews despite going through a fair share of them but "A change of season" has me sold on the fact that if any book deserves praise for others to see, it's this one.
The title "A change of season" is perhaps a bit misleading because it depicts that things are about to take a turn, being humans we assume its for the best yet in this the polar opposite happens and instead we see how things have molded into this lifeless blob of materialism, selfish desires and general lack of compassion, things which are all part of the themes beautifully expanded upon in this book. The transition in every poem is absolutely beautiful and subtle, something mirrored in the general composition of the book as it also transitions into deeper, darker subjects of humanity's coin. The references gradually get ever so bleak, the tone gets a bit more "harsh", the wording just a bit stronger and the emotions, the grip, a ton more encapsulating. "A change of season" is a harrowing, engrossing and gorgeously presented piece of literature with ideas and views at play much deeper than what they might initially appear. In a way, the book holds a mirror to our everyday decisions and gives us something to think about as we sift through the delicately crafted verses. Perhaps my only critique of this book would be that for something so excellent, so touching and so eerie at its very core, it ends a bit early because I, for one, could read for days end such important and simply beautiful pieces of literature.
