The House Divided Project at Dickinson College is powered by contributions from students and staff who are creating a wide variety of multi-media resources to honor the Civil War's 150th anniversary (2011-15) and to help America's classrooms learn more about the long era of American sectional conflict, from 1840 to 1880. Matthew Pinsker, the Pohanka Chair for Civil War History, serves as Director.
