Debbs Stotts

Founder of the International Foundation for the Challengers of Blindness.

I was born with pretty bad eyesight. The first attempt to restore my sight with a surgical procedure was when I was three years old.
I was later diagnosed with Iris Atrophy, degenerative Myopia along with Retinitis Pigmentosa.
These eye conditions are inherited and genetic. Though my vision was not restored it was corrected until five years ago.
Then began a medical journey that seemed never ending until one day I decided that my living is not in vain.
I was accepted into a rehabilitation program in Israel that helped me in transitioning into an assisted lifestyle.
