Memoir of buying and repairing my first house. The house was over one hundred years old. It seemed like a good idea to buy it and it was very, very cheap. It turned out to be more like a money pit than a small quaint home for my children and I. The well wasn't large enough to supply the water we needed, when I had a new one drilled, it turned out to smell like rotten eggs!
