I was extremely surprised by this book. The story of the Praying Mantis will have you engulfed from the second half, the first half was mostly getting to know everything about Alisha and Reeve and all other parties involved. then there is also a story of the singles killer, taking time from Reeve's goal of stopping the Praying Mantis. the Praying Mantis was always prepared, always ready to up the ante. The feelings involved during the killings is an very powerful tool in the book. The twist in the end of the book was by far the biggest surprise of the whole book, Showing you that you can truly trust no one. Berend Van der Poll seems like a strong, up and coming writer. we polished in his writings and very detailed. I can not wait to see what more he can bring.
