In my first life (that I can remember), I was murdered by Baruch Spinoza, strangled and tossed from a top story window – probably to hide the fact that it was really me who wrote “Ethics”.
Later on, I served as the inspiration for Jane Austen’s “Emma” (Emma Woodhouse, handsome, clever, and rich), and more recently – that is presently – I became the darling of Hamptons’ society with my latest cozy mystery novel, about an ordinary suburban mom with extraordinary powers. It just hit the New York Times best-seller list and will shortly be turned into a weekly T.V. series and…Wait! Stop! Hold the phone and call the cops! This sounds more like someone that would be in a Catt Russell Mysteries novel by Carol Wakefield.
In actual fact, as far as biographies go, I am more like you, the reader - a suburban housewife, who loves a good read to pass some spare time. If you want to know my whole story, go to www.carolwakefield.com but the short version is I live a pretty ordinary life in Richmond Hill, Ontario, with my husband and son and a whole lot of cats and I love to write about adventures that I hope I never experience for real (except for the fact that I really wish I could do the things Catt does).

Catt Russell, an ordinary suburban soccer mom with unordinary, uncontrollable and unreliable psychic powers, comes into possession of a pair of boots under suspicious circumstances, and finds herself caught up in the world of industrial espionage and international intrigue. As the bodies pile up, Catt realizes they have one thing in common – They all look like her!
A Bump in the Night
Catt Russell, an ordinary suburban mom with unreliable psychic powers, has a dilemma. Her best friend, Jilly, is getting married to CSIS agent Morris Ali. Her society snob sister, Micky, insists on being the wedding planner, the antique wedding ring goes missing in a rash of robberies and an extremely strange woman claims that Catt’s husband, Jack, is her betrothed. What could possibly go wrong?
Catt Russell, an ordinary suburban mom with uncontrollable and unreliable psychic powers, is egged on in this sixth edition of Catt Russell Mysteries, by the sudden appearance – and disappearance – of a body in a foggy supermarket parking lot and her discovery of a flash drive that sets her and her friends on a brand new adventure.
Art for Art's Sake

Catt Russell, an ordinary suburban soccer mom with unordinary, uncontrollable and unreliable psychic powers, and her society star sister, Micky, are plunged into intrigue on a remote west coast island, populated by a collection of dubious characters claiming to be a colony of artists, one of which is Catt and Mickey’s brother, Art. But there is more going on than meets the artistic eye!
