Attila Csontos

I always did like to travel, although I was not successful in doing that as much as I would have liked.

While I was only a child, I always dreamed of traveling in foreign lands, although not as much to Europe, but as to America, which is what popped into my mind most often.

My other major dream was about becoming a researcher and I imagined myself in my mind's eye already at age 10 in a white lab coat behind the microscope.

The road was very long and tiresome, but the two things: 1) the Fulbright scholarship 2) and living in Florida have united into one huge reality for me.

Although I wrote many scientific articles, dissertations, diploma work and other miscellaneous literature, I never wrote a book with such magnitude.

It was no wonder that as I started writing my first couple of sentences and as I was contemplating about the title of this document that nothing worthwhile came to my mind at the time, which is the reason why my first title for the first couple of sentences was called "do not know what to write about.doc".

I do hope that you will like what you read from "my pen" and enjoy the time spending on reading :-)

I compare the differences between the experiences that I had during my years of higher education and philosophy of life in general.
