What is your writing process?
I start with a general concept that includes a few characters. Most often it's very basic and I have no idea where the storyline or it's characters will go. When I do think I have a timeline in place, it always proves to be temporary as the story ever evolves and I surprise myself as to where I end up at the end of a days writing. For me, that's the satisfying part of writing; the spontaneity. I have no rigid outlines and it seems that simply relaxing and letting go opens my mind and the floodgates of creative places that I don't take my characters, but where they take me.
How do you approach cover design?
As the story builds in my minds eye and on paper, so too does the image of what the overall representation should be. I hope that it's something that allows a potential reader to get a feel for a good chunk of what awaits them inside on the pages that follow.
