E. R. Barnes


E.R. Barnes was born in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and grew up in New York State. She attended Greenville Women's College (now known as Furman University) in S.Carolina receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Voice and Speech and later earned a Master's Degree in Education from New York State University.
While working in the Accounting Department at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City she married and moved to Long Island. For twenty-five years she taught elementary education.
After her husband died she moved back to Pennsylvania. The author is an active volunteer for the local Volunteer Fire Company. Her hobbies are reading American History and 20th Century Science, crocheting afghans and baby blankets for the Fire Company to sell.
