Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up on the Wirral Peninsula, which is a small strip of land between Liverpool and North Wales where I would spend weekends when I was younger. This gave me a sense of duality as living on the Wirral can sometimes make you feel in limbo, near Wales and yet definitely not Welsh, near Liverpool but definitely not a scouser. It is this duality that often finds itself in my writing with the reader unsure as to the true ending before all has been revealed
Describe your desk
My Desk can often be a small area within my house that I can manage to get just half an hour to write two or three first paragraphs of a chapter, so it can often be messy but in a organised chaos way which makes for organised chaotic writing style full of excitement as I can often be unsure as to where the next sentence will take me and the reader on our journey together.
