    This was my first journey into the land of witches and vampires. I approached it with trepidation until I found myself caught up in the story itself. Christine Powell is a consummate storyteller who weaves her characters together into a fanciful exploration of the paranormal world. A few grammatical errors and typos were overtaken by her ability to capture my imagination and keep me locked in the book. As a novice to this genre, I did get lost in some of the references, however, for those who follow the vampire world, this is a delightful read.
