  • The Dark Gifts Inheritance on March 30, 2012

Sarah and Jason are brother and sister that have been thru the foster care system after their parents passed away. Their aunt had left them a home with many secrets from their past they were unaware of. Jason has noticed a change in himself that scares him and wants Sarah in on it so he can find out what is happening. He’s changing into something he knows nothing about. They stumble across something in the attic that tells them they own another house and go to check it out. They meet their Aunt Shana who is a Seer. Danger creeps around them as things don’t seem so safe for them with her. They discover they both will be werewolves eventually but Jason has already started the change. Is their family there to now help them learn the ways or are they out to destroy them? What new creatures will they meet along the way? This is an edge of the seat excitement as Ms. Cross brings out the characters in her book to a new world. There has to be a sequel to this and I can’t wait for it to come out.
  • Dangerous Barter: A Novella on March 31, 2012

What would you do for freedom and money? Laura Brenton is going to her home for the finality of a divorce from Michael. She has met Trevor a model and is ready to take the next step with him. Michael is a writer and isn’t ready to give up on his marriage. But will he have a choice? What does the thought of having money do to someone? Or better yet, what would you do to keep the one you love? This was a short story by Ms. Auverigne. It was a nice quick read and I wouldn’t mind reading more of her work.
  • After Dinner Mint & Other Stories on April 04, 2012

These were interesting reads. She has a wonderful imagination. This has five short stories in it. Although I would have liked more background on some of them, that’s why they make short stories. Ms. Auverigne has shown me she can write longer stories and I’d love to see it. She has such creativity that she could really shine. I’d be interested in reading more of her work but would love to see what she can do with a longer story than the short ones even those seemed to be good.
  • Haunted Moon (A Moon Coven Series Novella) on April 11, 2012

This is the beginning of a truly good story to Compulsion. This is Leeny’s story and her beginning of becoming a Moon witch and her acceptance of her gift. Ms. Burks-Miller has a wonderful way of telling her story.
  • Dirty Little Angels on April 12, 2012

This is the story about a young teen named Hailey and the hardships of life that are happening to her and her family. Her dad is unemployed and her mom is in a depression from a miscarriage she had. Hailey is questioning her faith in God and wondering why he hasn’t answered her prayers to help them thru everything. Her brother, Cyrus has introduced her to a man named Moses. Moses is an ex con and he’s planning on changing a bank into a drive thru church. Moses isn’t such a saint but Hailey is drawn to his belief in God. But is he a good influence to her? This is a different kind of story from the one’s I read but the author brought out some of the trails that haunt young adults in their lives and how they handle them. I’d be interested in reading more of Mr. Tusa’s books.
  • Clone Three on Oct. 21, 2012

Ms. Larson’s words flow easily with her writings of this story. You will find yourself pulled in from the beginning and refusing to believe the story is over when it ends even knowing there is a sequel out there for us to come. Clone 3 also known as Trio is confused. She has waken with little memory and only flashbacks of things from the past. She is on a mission to find Clone 2 and Clone 1 by a graphic of a woman telling her to find them but it fades away. She happens upon Poppy, a little girl that grabs her heart instantly. Beckett, Poppy’s brother is a protector in many ways. The Sick have come along after the world that we know of has ended along with other predators. All adults have died and all that is left are children and young adults trying to make it in the world of what is left. But survival is hard because if you can’t hide in the shadows, be aware of what is around you, then your fate will be as the rest of the world has met. I dare you to not fall in love with the characters Ms. Larsen has created for us and brought to life. I am looking forward to the next story to this series.
  • Kiera's Quest: Awakenings on Oct. 21, 2012

Now this book caught me off guard and was not what I expected. That right there gives the author a massive jump on this being a fantastic read. Kiera has found a ring near a doll. The doll just so happens to be Zakk who is cursed by the Witch Queen’s spell. She wants all the power to do as she wishes. This story takes you on an adventure that shows you nothing around you is what it really seems. Can Kiera save this world she has been brought into and the people that she loves from harm? Loved this story from beginning to end.
  • Erotic Seduction on Nov. 12, 2012

I won this on a LibraryThing giveaway. This is the start of three stories. Isobel is seeking attention, maybe approval thru Jay who is more than happy to oblige. But he has his own insecurities to deal with. This was a nice touch to the main stories that will follow

Murders are happening in the town that Detective David Marks is in and they have similarities of two puncture wounds in the neck. Ryan is a PI working for Selena and has been assigned to find out what Dr. Becker is researching. His sister, Chelsea, has met Travis and he’s different from the guys she’s dated in the past. With a vampire running around who only cares about what he wants, is anyone safe? I liked the mystery involved in this and how so many characters’ lives intertwined. I would definitely recommend this story.
