I can only echo some of the previous sentiments, this series takes the reader on an approachable, realistic ride to locations that are not always at the forefront of your typical TripAdvisor search, all while shedding light onto some of the realities of society's impact, showcasing the love of wildlife (penguin highways! with fantastic photos and videos to boot), and some provocative romance to keep you turning pages. An amazing adventure, and I learned quite a bit. Also, as an iPad reader, it's fun switching back and forth from the multimedia companion - especially if you forgot to after an episode, and then go back and relive it with actual photos, maps, and even a Spotify soundtrack. Very cool.
