Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
In my early days of publishing, I was known as a song writer, and my first book published was actually a collection of my songs. Writing short stories, or any kind of story, was never a strong interest in my teen years. Although as a kid, who occaisionally got into trouble, I sure could come up with a story or two in a hurry if needed. In my teen years I was very focused on music, horses and girls. However, in Grade 10 of my high school years, I had an English composition teacher who gave us all a short story writing assignment. He was amazed with what I produced, and highly praising of my efforts. To the best of my recollection, that would have been my first attempt at writing a story.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Believe it or not, I use research software to locate which ebooks readers are focusing on the most. This helps me identify the reading interests of potential buyers.
