James Tweed


Born and raised in southern Manitoba, Canada, James graduated from Winnipeg's Kelvin High School in 1984. He joined the Canadian Forces in 1986, and spent the next 25 years travelling Canada in support of the military. He retired in 2011.
James lists reading, writing, and listening to music as his hobbies, but is now considering writing full time.
James is married to a wonderful woman and they have two beautiful daughters, who are embarking on their own adventures.

This book chronicles a chapter of my life between April 1983 and March 1996. The poems and lyrics in this book mirror a side of me that very few people, if any, have ever seen (hence the title). Mild language and suggestive themes; nothing graphic.
