  • Cthulhu - Something in the Mud (short story) on April 17, 2014

“Cthulhu - Something in the Mud” by Nikolai Bird was a pleasure to read. The story was great and the pace was good. I saw the story in my head, like a black-and-white movie, quite vividly. Mr Bird definitely captured the “pulp” feeling for me. I could almost smell the sea salt. ~Jamie Bradshaw
  • The Hunt on April 28, 2014

The short description of the story caught my attention. I was intrigued by what seemed to be a different kind of vampire story. I was right. King's story fascinated me and I liked the take on vampires in the modern world that she used. The pace is good and it reads very easily.
