Jamie Bach lives in Florida with her two daughters. She enjoys doing things together as a family. They enjoy camping, going to botanical gardens, and of course going to the beach. Jamie took a year of art classes at Vero Beach Center for the arts museum and has always loved drawing. She also loves animals and has always wanted to write a children’s book. “I hope you enjoy this story and read it many times with your loved ones” Jamie says. "My reason for writing this book was to shine a light on how important sports can be for young adults. If I didn't have sports in my life I would have probably gotten into a lot of trouble."
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Vero Beach Florida. I took art classes at the Museum of Art and I took photography at Vero Beach High School. I would say Vero influenced me because I took many trips to the ocean, the botanical garden, and since it is was a small town I had a lot of time to be creative at home because there wasn't much to do. Now the town is growing and isn't so small!
When did you first start writing?
I first started writing in kindergarten. I remember one of my teachers in Middle School putting an A plus plus on my paper. She said you are very creative and I can see you being a writer someday. I wish I could remember her name...
