Smashwords Interview

What's the story behind your latest book?
God gave me the idea to the book in a dream. I didn't know if I wanted to write a movie script or a book. A friend of ours and her husband, at the time, own a movie company and she wanted to be in on writing a script for it. For what ever reason that just didn't pan out. About a year later God gave me the specifics about the story and I felt that I should write a book about it. Five months later the book was done.
What are you working on next?
I have several books in the works right now. My next book in the series is The Dividing Asunder: Jack Reed. In the first book there was a pastor. I will be telling how Jack Reed came from a criminal life to know Christ and become a preacher. It will take the readers though Jack's freedom and the prejudices that he faces with Christians when they learn what God redeemed him from.

The third book in the series will be Dividing Asunder: Elouise Worthington, a lady who has mental and physical handicaps. It will be, like the other books, her story of redemption from her own perspective. I believe just because an individual may appear to us to have a physical or mental handicap, doesn't mean they they don't have feelings, wants, needs, emotions, etc. I want to convey this to the readers that people with disabilities have desire to know and come to Jesus, just like anyone else. This story will tell of Elouise's struggles in life, and even with her limited ability to communicate she is drawn to Christ.
