Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in West London but moved out to the suburbs early in life. Like all other places I have lived, they all have a bearing and influence on you in life, many are in my stories and books. Great experiences that I wouldn't change for the world.
When did you first start writing?
About 30 years ago. I started with a small circulation magazine and then progressed to write regularly for most of the national household magazines. I also had a monthly column in a national newspaper.
