Jean Grainger is an Irish writer. She holds a degree and post graduate qualifications in History and English. Her books often have a historical aspect to them though they are in the area of general fiction. Her career has been varied, from University lecturer, to secondary school teacher, to tour director for groups visiting Ireland. She has also written and directed many stage plays, mostly for young adults. She is currently in the final process of editing her new book 'So Much Owed'. Her debut novel, 'The Tour' is a Number 1 best-seller on Amazon's books about Ireland category. She currently teaches in a boy's secondary school. She is married with four children.
