Niagara on the Lake, Ontario Canada, has become a special place to me. When Glencairn Hall ( built in 1832), was purchased by my husband and I in 2004, we knew it was an important part of Canada's history.
This would be the largest renovation/design we had ever attempted. The great architectural features had to be rescued for this Aging Grand Lady.
I have chronicled the amazing lives, passions of the prominent owners who originated from around the world.
I was born in Montreal Quebec, and raised in Toronto Ontario. My 40 year career, was in interior design. I am a Life member of A.R.I.D.O. Association of Interior Design. Reg and I raised three children, have seven grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren

If you love historical homes, powerful political figures, steamships, trains, brilliant business people, renovations, interior design, gardens in pink and secrets, then welcome to Glencairn Hall. Built in 1832, perched on the edge of the Niagara River. The road this mansion is situated on, according to Winston Churchill, “is the prettiest drive in the world.”
