Jennifer has been a teacher for 15 years in a traditional classroom, but has worked with kids since she was in high school. She never thought she would write books, but adopting a child has inspired words in new ways for her.

As an adoptive mom, finding children's books that help kids understand it has been a little hard. Helping a child deal with the beauty and the loss of adoption is important to me. The story isn't always neat and pretty, but helping a child understand and a parent explain is important to me.
