Food in God's House...by Randal Burgess Some people live to eat but in his book Randall Burgess encourages his readers to eat to live a life more in touch with God using fasting as a tool and food as fuel. I found his book to be refreshing and convicting. We do live in a culture and society that seems to lack discipline in so many areas of life. Anna, by getting her life and temple tuned up by making healthy and right choices, not only improved her outlook on life, but it impacted those around her too. We desperately need more followers of Jesus making spiritual impact today. I feel this book would be a good read for a new follower of Jesus or someone who has grown stale and sluggish in their faith and spiritual disciplines. "Food in God's Place" has a clear and Christ centered message and is very much worth the read.
