JB Ferreira III

Raptor Survival is my first book I wrote. The whole idea started on a cold winters night sitting around a camp fire... We started talking and debating about -Who will survive- . In this book is my version of -who will survive-. I'm South African born, and the book is written in English UK and not in English US. I do have a US version of the book, seeing that there is a lot of differences between the two English version... One US reader didn't know/pick up the different dialects... I tried to make this book easy to read for everyone and kept it simple, somethings may look like spelling errors and other are deliberate spelling error what is unique to the character.

Smashwords Interview

Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes, It was a fiction book and my teacher was not a fiction reader ... lol
What is your writing process?
I will first get a basic line of the story... I don't sit down a day and say " today i'm going to write 20 pages/chapter 1. I will write a couple of pages and a lot of the time i will go back read it again and make some changes necessary. I do research while I'm writing in using correct word for timeline in the book. my Publisher even pointed out a few and said that it was wrong. But after she looked it up, she changed her view. None of my books is a quickly written book. My first one took 9 months to complete. Second one is finished and will be released next year.
