I gave this short story 5 stars because even though short works often seem unsatisfying, this one gave me a craving for more in a good way. I felt I received a tantilizing appetizer of each character and wanted to find out more. The two children are even more intriguing and mysterious than the gritty femal Vamp. I hope we see this turn into a novel.
