  • How To Be A Productivity Ninja - With Pocket Informant on Feb. 21, 2013

I've been a user of Pocket Informant for some time, but have long felt that I was making use of only a fraction of its (growing) capabilities. This book went a long ways toward unlocking some of that heretofore untapped potential in the app, and more importantly nudged me into a concerted effort to be more organized and productive in my personal life (I'm retired, so this does not apply to gainful employment). Just a couple of minor complaints about the book that mighty be taken care of in subsequent editions: Illustrations seem to favor iPad rather than iphone, and some actions that were illustrated in the ipad version of the app required figuring out on the iphone. The only other complaint has to do with the book's not telling you how to implement (in Pocket Informant) some of the less major suggestions for organizing tasks (e.g. how to set aside tasks where you are waiting for someone else to do their part). The usefulness of the book far outweighs these minor shortcomings, and it certainly delivers great value for the modest expenditure involved.
