Composer/arranger/bass trombonist John Morton has more than 45 years of experience writing music in a variety of styles. During this time he has composed and arranged for radio orchestras, big bands, brass bands, theatre productions and smaller instrumental groups. His nine-piece jazz group was a favourite with 'off-duty' professionals, performing in concert and in jazz clubs nationwide. For many years he has been actively involved in the brass band world playing bass trombone, baritone horn and euphonium. His musical experience has embraced an unusually wide range of styles and even includes touring with a soul band on trumpet and flügelhorn (and backing vocals!). His compositions are sold world-wide.
