Johnny Copper achieved the rank of Command Master Chief before retiring after 22 years in the United States Navy. He is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy and the Command Master Chief School. He was born in Pensacola, Florida and enlisted in the Navy 1989. His hobbies include running, reading, and fishing with his grandson.
After retiring from the Navy, he and his family moved back to Florida. He’s been married for 25 years and has two children and one grandson. James has a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Management from Grand Canyon University.
What's the story behind your latest book?
It's about 9-year-old Perry Winkle who has a knack for solving neighborhood crimes.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I wanted to write this book and decided to publish as an indie author.
