Jonathan Dunne

Jonathan has written six novels: Balloon Animals 2012, Living Dead Lovers 2013, The Nobody Show 2014, Hide the Elephant 2015, Hearts Anonymous, 2016, Lighthouse Jive 2016.

'Revelation' coming 2020!

Admittedly, Jonathan has done things arseways most of his life, from completing a BA in Literature in his thirties to fitting teeth brackets (30's, porcelain). During this general confusion, Jonathan has had various short stories published. Jonathan suffers from photophobia though has a tendency towards fireworks. Originally from Limerick, Ireland, he now lives the reclusive life in Toledo, Spain, as a bearded hermit, with his wife and three daughters. He is known to be found in the local cemetery at the weekend during daylight hours, though for goodness sake, don’t sneak up on him.

Smashwords Interview

What are you working on next?
The Nobody Show will be out late Summer/Autumn. It centres around various nobodies who want to be somebodies but may have to settle for being just anybodies. That much is easy to understand surely.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
To be asked default questions by a software programme that doesn't know whether I can write or not certainly motivates me. This ties in with indie writers self-promoting their wares to the detriment or the better of the public ... I like talking to myself and this is a wonderful asset when promoting your own work. On the other hand, I can say what I want and decide how I should say it: maybe the world loves it or maybe it hates it but that's indie for you.

My name is Dr Jonathan Dunraven. I make a living by telling the world that Jesus Christ never lived and miracles don’t happen, until I witness a life-changing event involving my four-year-old son, Brian. My world is turned upside-down when I come face to face with a stranger claiming to be Jesus of Nazareth.
