Jonathan has written three novels for adults - 'Balloon Animals'...'Living Dead Lovers'...and 'The Nobody Show'.

Jonathan's new novel, 'Hide the Elephant' is a black comedy which has been released Oct 2015.

Jonathan Dunne is the author of 'Balloon Animals' and 'Living Dead Lovers'. Admittedly, Jonathan has done things arse-ways most of his life, from completing a BA in Literature in his thirties to fitting teeth brackets (30's, porcelain). During this general confusion, Jonathan has written and published a variety of short stories. Jonathan realized that he had a penchant for scribbling when, as a child, he would join the items on his mother's shopping list: the carrots were soon blaming the cabbage for the murder. Jonathan suffers from photophobia though has a tendency towards fireworks. Originally from Limerick, Ireland, he now lives the reclusive life in Toledo, Spain, as a bearded hermit, with his wife, two daughters, and Tommy the St Bernard.

Smashwords Interview

What are you working on next?
The Nobody Show will be out late Summer/Autumn. It centres around various nobodies who want to be somebodies but may have to settle for being just anybodies. That much is easy to understand surely.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
To be asked default questions by a software programme that doesn't know whether I can write or not certainly motivates me. This ties in with indie writers self-promoting their wares to the detriment or the better of the public ... I like talking to myself and this is a wonderful asset when promoting your own work. On the other hand, I can say what I want and decide how I should say it: maybe the world loves it or maybe it hates it but that's indie for you.
