Author Jonathan Timmons is the fifth out of six children. He is very vocal about the need for other children to learn about Autism. Having a sibling with Autism isn't always easy and, at times, can be scary. Jonathan shares what it is like to have a sibling with Autism and hopes that as people learn more, they will also learn to be kind, patient, and treat others with respect.
When did you first start writing?
I barely remember my childhood...at least anything before the age of four. So, I'd have to say my first book, "Autism & Us: The Tale of Two Brothers" - unless you count when I learned how to write my name when I was two.
What's the story behind your latest book or series of books?
My brother has Autism. I want people to know what it's like and to learn how to treat people with Autism.
What is Autism? How do you treat people who have Autism? Come learn about Autism as Jonathan and Titus Timmons share their story of how Autism has touched their family. Both of these young authors are AMAZING young men who openly share their thoughts and feelings in hopes of spreading Autism Awareness and Acceptance.
