J. J. Hanna started writing when she was in seventh grade, inspired by a family friend. Her work started small, beginning with Existence (2012). She continued writing throughout her high school career, and truly enjoys the process of watching her characters come to life in print.
She lives in Denver, CO with her mom and sister, and looks forward to a future in the literary world.
Who are your favorite authors?
I love Sharon Carter Rogers, J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Mark Twain, Rick Riordan, Marcus Zusak, and many others. Those are the ones that come to mind.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The reality that something good will happen inspires me to get up every day. Even the worst of days have good moments, and those are what always make me excited to keep going.
