Jose Lorenzo Fuentes was born in Santa Clara, Cuba, in 1928. He graduated as a journalist in Havana. He served as professor of art history at the School of Journalism at Las Villas, Cuba. She studied a Masters in Hypnology Multidimensional Healing and Biolistics.
He subsequently received a course in Tantric Self Healing Tibetan Medicine and was certified by the Gangchen Lama Rinpoche, Sri Lanka. As a journalist he worked with various media, most notably the newspapers El Nuevo Dia, Puerto Rico and El Mundo, Bohemia and Carteles, Cuba.
He was also deputy director of the magazine Cuba. He has written several books receiving national and international awards. Besides his passion for literature and journalism, Jose Lorenzo Fuentes has dedicated much of his life to the research and study of metaphysical subjects like magic, alternative medicine and parapsychology.
