Joy Ellis

Joy Ellis grew up in Kent but moved to London when she won an apprenticeship with the prestigious Mayfair florist, Constance Spry Ltd. Having run her own flower shop in Weybridge in Surrey for many years, Joy decided on a complete change of direction. She went on a writing course at the Skyros Institute in Greece, with Sue Townsend as her tutor, and soon discovered that not only did she love reading books, she loved writing them too! After that she became a bookseller and now lives in Lincolnshire with her partner Jacqueline, a retired police officer, and their two Springer spaniels, Woody and Alfie. Crimesight is her third crime novel.
