Biography

Khalid Al Hajeri is an Emirati author living in the United Arab Emirates. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature in the year 2008, and is an avid collector and reader of books on various fiction and non-fiction topics. The Third One is his first novel.

Smashwords Interview

Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?

Yes, funny enough it was a comic book series. I sketched it out when I was very young; it was a fun action comedy story with stick-figure characters and a mix of two- and three-dimensional drawings in the background. I still have those sketches even to this day!

What is your writing process?

I start with an idea, then I write down smaller ideas that I call "sub-ideas" onto a notepad on my smartphone or computer. Once I see a pattern, I begin writing in a Word document with the intention of completing a full book suitable for publishing
