K.A. Parkinson was raised in a small suburb where she spent most of her time hiding under her bed with a book, a bag of cookies, and a flashlight. As an adult she still spends as much time as possible eating cookies, reading books, (and writing them) . . . but now she shares the cookies and her stories with her husband and two children.
