Sine Nomine was born and raised in Azad Kashmir and is passionate about his birthplace. As a native of the region he has a very good understanding of the demographic, cultural and historical specifics of this region. His viewpoint is not that of an outsider looking in, but rather someone with a personal and vested interest in the region.
He later moved to the UK with his family. However, he never lost the connection with his birthplace and had an urge to write. This passion was driven by his deep emotional attachment and his dream to see the area thrive, as he knows it can.
The book was written with the hope that it may wake up and inspire the entire people of Kashmir. The writer gives an extensive and unique viewpoint of Kashmir and proceeds to give insights not only into the history of the region but also into the current situation of the Kashmir region.
