Antrim is an award-winning novelist. CAPITAL OFFENSE received high praise from such authors as Vince Flynn and Lee Child.
As a national correspondent and columnist, she wrote for the “San Francisco and Washington, DC Examiner” newspapers, various magazines and was featured as a political commentator on HOTTalk 560 KSFO radio and “BattleLine.” Antrim has appeared on such television shows as “Hannity and Colmes.”
She worked on Capitol Hill behind the scenes in the United States Senate, while working on the biography of a former Governor and Senator who was running for President.
Her short story “Through a Veil Darkly” is included in the anthology, THRILLER 2, edited by Clive Cussler.
She is at work on her next novel, which is shaping up to to be a big action, adventure, historical thriller. Why the change from Washington DC politics?
“The more I researched history, the more I realized that we’re still dealing with the same issues today, that we were dealing with hundreds of years ago. Other than Viagra and Wireless, not much has changed. So, I left political commentary to focus on my career as a thriller writer.”
She currently serves on the Board of Directors for International Thriller Writers as a Co-President with author Douglas Preston. She is also on the Board of Directors for the San Francisco Writers Conference, the Honorary Board of Directors for Las Positas College, and is a member of Mystery Writers of America, the Authors Guild and the National Press Club.
