I wrote this story the month after we cancelled our cable tv subscription. Inspired by how much free time I had regained in my day, I worked on it most nights that I had previously spent flipping through channels.
I was pleased to read this to my daughter's 2nd grade class as a nice culminating event. It was my mother who is a published writer that suggested I post it on smashwords. (www.donnahustonmurray.com)
