Born and raised in Chicago and is currently working on her Ed.D in Education Leadership. She has found a passion in writing in between teaching and mentoring. It is her goal that she is able to work with young women across the country to find themselves, their purpose and their direction. Alexander also enjoys writing fictional work and always loved the thrill of coming up with plots and solving the mysteries. Alexander’s goal is to continue to write both fictional and non-fictional transformational readings.
Alexander is married and currently resides in Chicago with her two children.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Have you ever just wanted to step out on faith, do something, and not wait on the opinion or the view of others? This is why I am an indie author. I was given a vision and a purpose and it was not predicated on what others thought or if they felt it was good enough. There are some things that I need to get out and this was the best option for me time considered.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Currently at this time I am building my brand. Smashwords has allowed me to reach many different channels to get my work in the hands of others.

Learning how to balance education, career, family and ultimately life. This book explores taking a look at the current situation, understanding the positions that one is in and how to improve them.
