The Grue, Part One: Amber on Jan. 23, 2014

The Grue Angel: Is a very interesting and intriguing book! This is not the first book I have read by Wayne Hicks and I must say he goes above and beyond in every single story he writes. If you like monsters, vampires, violence and sex, you will definitely LOVE the Grue Angel. Angel is a fitting term for the young lady Rachel in this book. However, in the beginning it doesn’t seem so fitting but, as you get into the story you begin to understand why she is called a Grue Angel. There is never a moment that you are not on the edge of your seat wondering what’s going to happen next. I am looking forward to reading the sequel to this book. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking to read a good suspense filled and adventurous story!
Promise of Magic: The Other Side of the Mirror on Jan. 23, 2014

Promise of Magic: The Other Side of the Mirror is one of the best books I have ever read! It starts out going in one direction and just about the time you think you know what's going to happen next, the story takes an interesting twist. It starts out as being what you might think is going to be your typical fairy tale book but in fact it's ANYTHING BUT your typical fairy tale book!! That's one reason I liked it so much! It isn't a book that is predictable! I like a book that keeps you guessing and you never know what's going to happen next. With each new chapter, this book becomes more and more interesting! I especially like the ending to this first book, it will absolutely blow your mind!!! I am so glad that Mr. Hicks has made this book into a series and I can't wait to read the next book in this Amazing series! I believe this series of books could and should ultimately be made into a Movie! I highly recommend this book to EVERYONE, even to those of you who don't like to read. I'm not a really huge fan of reading but, after reading the first book in this series: The Other Side of the Mirror I have to admit, I'm hooked. This truly is a phenomenal book, and I will be committing myself to read the entire series! I give this book a 10 Star Rating!!
