Describe your desk
My laptop sits in the center with a lamp and all the necessities of normal desks; pens, pencils, paper. There's a notebook next to my laptop for ideas and parts of a novel in progress. I also have two bookshelves next to me loaded with dictionaries, Thesaurus, and many "how to" books on writing, scenes, characters, novels, and more. Above me on the wall are scenes to do with the writing of the my novel. Pictures help place me in the moment, along with my chosen music.
What's the story behind your latest book?
The story behind my latest publication is the short story, "Island of Fear." It's about a couple trying to survive a natural disaster on an island in Florida.
This is the third of the Crimson Cloak Anthologies, a collection of short works by various authors on a theme of LOVE in all its forms. All profits from this volume go to the International Children's Heart Foundation.
