How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Smashwords has definitely made my work more accessible. There is no limit to the platforms you can use. Plus, when it comes to promotions, there is no huge, time-sensitive stress.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I love to get lost in the world of my creation. Escapism, pure and simple. It is even more amazing after my work is published, that I often get asked about the characters and hints of the future. It's as though they are alive and very real, not just for me, but my audience too.
School is over, and there is a lovely long summer ahead - it will be anything but quiet. After rescuing his boyfriend from prison, Mark has to re-evaluate which demons he can trust. He also has a volatile new family member; and the weight of a witchy heritage pressing heavy on his shoulders. To top it off, children are starting to vanish from Tealford, and only magic will save them.
As an eventful school year draws to a close, Mark has to face his greatest challenge yet.
Witches, demons and spells have quickly become the norm for Mark, but he will find that magic can't solve all of his problems.
With everyone relying on him, will Mark be able to save the day?
Or will the price of being a hero be too high?
Mark thought being a witch would be easy, but it has ruined everything.
Now, he has to fight for his friends and the guy that he loves.
Which would be challenging enough, without school being a living nightmare; more demons than he can handle; and witches that have strayed from the light.
Everyone will betray you...

But events from last winter have set things into motion that he is not prepared for.
Witches, demons, and danger come together to prove that this... this is only the beginning.
~The thrilling finale of the Witch-Hunter trilogy~
Hunter Astley has always known that he is different: being a witch-hunter that can use magic has sealed his fate.
He must destroy the Shadow Witch once and for all, with the help of some unlikely allies.
We delve even deeper into the world of the Malleus Maleficarum; into myth, rumour and history that refuses to stay in the past.
The world has been thrown into darkness by the Shadow Witch's revolution. The witch-hunters are scattered, but still strong. The race is now on to gather allies and win the war.
New enemies will arise; loyalties will be pushed to the limit. And an important question will be answered: can a witch-hunter that practices magic ever be trusted, or will he be persecuted?
With Midwinter just around the corner, Mark's Nanna decides that it is time he learnt more about his family heritage. Learning witchcraft shouldn't be too difficult, right?
Balancing school, magic, and the distractions of the gorgeous new guy, should make this a very interesting winter.
In the face of dark magic and evil witches, a secret witch-hunting society works tirelessly to keep them at bay. The Malleus Maleficarum Council have strict rules and practises for eradicating magic.
Due to their work, witches have been almost forgotten, relegated to myth; but rumours are starting to emerge of a new power that will throw the world into chaos...
