Biography

Hi. My name is Katherine. I am a Minnesota native who is owned by two cats and two ferrets. I spend my time hugging trees, playing video games, being an uppity wench, and failing at social interactions. Oh, and I do that writing thing too, I guess.

I write speculative fiction of all kinds, because I am a genre whore with commitment issues. However, being a lifelong geek, much of what I am interested in reading and writing involves sci-fi and fantasy themes. I hope to have many more delicious brain children for you in the future.

Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes. I was in second grade, and it was a stupid little story about why cats play with yarn. Up until that point I couldn't really read or write, so all of the stories I "wrote" before then were picture books that I drew. Those ones were all "The Land Before Time" fanfiction, because I was obsessed with that movie as a kid.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Playing video games, watching movies, reading, wasting time on Facebook, and entertaining my cats and ferrets. And napping. I especially like napping.
