Karen Buscemi has been a freelance writer for 12 years, with articles appearing in Self, Women’s Health, Figure and Successful Living, and has also authored Split in Two: Keeping it Together When Your Parents Live Apart (Zest Books, 2009). By day, she is the editor of StyleLine magazine, metro Detroit’s guide to fashion, beauty and home, published by the Detroit Media Partnership. Karen lives in Rochester Hills, Michigan with her husband and two sons – with her ex and his family just a short car ride away.
