Biography

A seasoned travel writer, Kay Harwell Fernandez has written hundreds of feature articles for international, national and regional magazines, newspapers and webzines. She contributed to five National Geographic books. She is a longtime member of Society of American Travel Writers and American Society of Journalists and Authors. Her journeys have taken her to 56 countries (and counting), either independently or with a traveling companion. She authored two e-books: It Ain't Heavy, It's My Luggage: Tips for Older Women Traveling Abroad and Have Chocolate, Will Travel--An Enticing Journey to All Things Chocolate.
