This is an excellent collection of poems. It's just what I needed today to get me inspired. I personally love the poems that have a upbeat happy and dreamy feel to them, but even the more sad and emotional were great. Writing poetry can be a difficult task to do, but this writer has a talent for it! This review is an unbiased book review and the opinions here are 100% my own.
Man of Clay was definitely an interesting story. I can relate to the whole artist and independent thing being involved with an artist myself, but I found the many wives quite different than what I am use too. I thought the author did a fantastic on portraying the character of Connie. She dealt with things through her art. In a sense, she's a real women and can only handle so much. It was an emotional read for me, but an excellent one at that!
Loved the characters in this book. Very well developed they they seem like they have been in your life the whole time, like old friends. Love how it started out with the soon to be doctor questioning the diagnosis of a patient. He knew something was wrong and the fight and he had for that patient was touching. He knew he needed to further investigate and learning who was involved as the leader. It's a book that keeps you thinking and wanting to know what happens next.
This was one of the most thought out books I've read! The character and setting were described in such a way I felt like I was there in the book myself. The book sucked me in and I got none of my cleaning done, but I'm ok with that! It never lost my attention and was highly intense at times. Actually I had quite a few emotions since I formed an attachment with the characters. I wanted the boys to be alright and to come out on top. It was quite a journey that I couldn't stop reading it. I think sometimes YA books are better than adult book, and this is one of them!!
This was such a cute story. The main character, Iris, is such a sweet and caring girl that she just seems to come to life in this book. She has these unique quirks that no one seems to understand, expect her deceased grandmother. With fairies, magic and a coming to age budding romance, the book kept my attention until the very end. Very well written and a joyful book!
Absolutely loved this book! I love the fact that it had 15 different short stories instead of one long one. It's likes getting 15 books in one. Sexy, steamy and completely different plots to every story. I enjoyed them all but I have my favorites of course, like Devotion and Star Crossed. I look forward to more books from this author!
